Concorde – The Golden Years
Concorde G-BOAD over New York.
The scheduled Concorde flights to and from New York were by far the most important for both British Airways and Air France.
Taking full advantage of Concorde’s speed and the time difference between London and New York ,
some business people would arrive in New York on the early morning flight, do a day’s work and then take the evening flight back to London.
